Non-Discrimination and Equal Opportunity Policy

CCMC School does not permit nor condone discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, physical, mental, intellectual or learning disability, genetic information, age, veteran status, civil union or marital status in any educational program or activity, employment or admission, as required by organization policy and Title IX. Adults can easily familiarize themselves with the documents and rules of accepted norms of behavior with certain minorities in society. Whereas children may not fully understand the non-discrimination policy. Together with the sociology essay writing service https://essaysworld.net/custom-sociology-essay-writing-service, we have written and substantiated several methods and techniques for the formation of ethical norms of behavior of preschool children. This includes asking children certain questions, creating problem situations with independent assessment, various cognitive tasks and moral guidance exercises. These methodological techniques are aimed at developing the ability to analyze moral behavior and compare different similar life situations. Children need to develop such universal morals.

Complaints of any action which would be prohibited by this policy can be made to the Title IX Coordinator, Patricia FitzGerald, Ph.D., Clinical Director for the CCMC School,  or in writing to CCMC School, 300 John Downey Drive, New Britain. Any teacher, administrator or other school employee who receives notice that a child has or may be the victim of harassment is required to immediately report the alleged acts to the Coordinator.

Upon receipt of a report or complaint, an investigation will be undertaken within 24 hours and will consist of personal interviews with all individuals reasonably believed to have relevant information including the complainant, the alleged violator, and others who have knowledge of the alleged incident; as well as a review of relevant documents or other information. The investigation will maintain confidentiality as much as possible while still allowing for a thorough review of all relevant information and be completed no later than within 10 days of the receipt of the complaint. No retaliation will be permitted against any complainant or person who participates in an investigation, including any form of intimidation, reprisal or harassment. Upon completion of the investigation, CCMC School will take appropriate formal or informal action to address, and if appropriate, remediate the violation.
